If the website is registered with a domain name (like google.com), OpenDNS or Norton Security Scanner will automatically look up the DNS records for that domain name for you and show them on the screen.
If the website isn't registered with a domain name (like facebook.com), you'll have to type in the full.
If you're looking to host a website on the world wide web, there's a good chance your domain name (e.g. mysite.com) is registered with a DNS provider like GoDaddy or Google.
